Safety Measures

Here at Ninna-ji Temple Omuro Kaikan, in order to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the health and safety of our guests, customers, and employees are our top priority, and we are taking the following preventative measures so that our customers can use our facilities with peace of mind.
Thorough hygiene management
  • We carry out alcohol disinfection to thoroughly clean the facilities and equipment in the building.
Social distancing
  • We have reduced the number of tables in the restaurant and limit the number of seats, as well as avoid face-to-face seating
  • In the lobby, seating is arranged to ensure social distance
Prevention of short-range aerosol or droplet transmission
  • Vinyl sheets are installed to prevent direct face-to-face interaction at service areas such as the front desk, cashier, and gift shop.
  • Vinyl sheets are installed on the counters between the kitchen and hall, staff wear masks, kitchen staff use face guards.
  • "Sukiyaki" for dinner on the second night is served individually in a small pot instead of a large communal pot.
Measures by Employees
  • Mask wearing
  • Daily health checks and monitoring of temperatures before coming to work, employees with such symptoms as a fever of 37.5°C of higher or a cough are asked to stay home.
  • Disinfection of hands with alcohol stationed throughout the building.
  • Guidance on washing hands, gargling, and hydration.
Requests to our customers and guests
  • Please wear a mask except for when eating.
  • Please disinfect your hands with the sanitization stations installed at each entrance.
  • If you are not feeling well or have a fever, please refrain from entering the facilities.
