Guests of Omuro Kaikan are given exclusive access to the morning Buddhist service.
A contemplating ritualinvolving the five senses
Religious services are performed every morning at the main temple building “Kondo”, a cultural property not open to the general public.
Pray quietly while listening to sutras being chanted in the soft glow of flickering candles.
Following the service, a sermon will also be given by the monks.
